Abstract

Taipei Architects Association commissioned by the Taipei City Government’s construction management

agency for the “building envelope energy consumption” and “green building” audit sampling business. For

this year, totally review of 297 cases from August 5, 2014 to October 14, 2014, handled a total of four batches
of case audit. The results showed“ Greenery of Site“ pass rate 91.30 %,“ Soil Water Content“ pass rate 88.68 %,

“ Energy Saving of Building“ pass rate 90.65 % , “ Green Building Materials“ pass rate 94.83%,“ Rainwater

harvesting and Grey water reusing of Building“ pass rate 84.62 %. Overall average pass rate for the year is

90.02 %.

Summarizing this year’s audits and spot checks business made the following suggestions: 1. Part on

Greenery of Site: eco-green discount coefficient is greater than 0.8, recommended the need to have a
clear formula. 2. Soil Water Content: the existing formula of calculation and variable description, advice

can be further simpliied. 3. Section on Energy Saving of Building: it is recommended that the Government

budgeted, organized by the Association to promote advocacy of building technical regulations 308-2
“green building benchmark”. 4.The building rain water or gray water recycling parts: suggested“set of new

buildings in Taipei City rain water recycling is essential” to add scope. 5. Green building material section:

recommended outdoor green building materials lay the looring up to a certain area (such as 300 square
meters) above, begin to control.
